About Us
Shiksha Rath, meaning Chariot of Education, is the flagship project of the Touch India Trust, a Delhi-based charity started in 2003. Shiksha Rath had a humble beginning in October, 2010, when it was launched in a park. It is a highly-focused, long-term initiative providing after school classes, nutritious meals, life skills and health care to the children.
We are grateful for giving us such an opportunity to serve the underprivileged children and families, at the same time to learn life’s great lessons through the challenges we have experienced over these last 10 years. We are also really thankful to all the friends and well-wishers who have supported us and journeyed along with us so far.
